Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality and consistency
- Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs during meal service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately
- Handle food safety practices diligently, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Support serving staff by preparing plates and assisting with meal presentation when needed
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accurately
- Contribute to a clean, organized workspace by regularly cleaning kitchen equipment,



utensils, and storage areas

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team and interact positively with colleagues and guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently in a rapid-paced setting
- Experience with restaurant operations, including serving or cashiering roles such as using Micros POS or similar systems is advantageous
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus; barista experience can be beneficial for versatile roles within the team
- A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
