CoSS – Residential Project (Laval) Location: Laval, QC Project Type: Multi-residential construction Employment Type: Full-time Overview Our client, a well-established construction company in Laval, is seeking an experienced Coordonnateur Santé & Sécurité (CoSS) to oversee health and safety compliance on a large-scale residential project. This role is critical in ensuring a safe work environment and full adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary Health & Safety authority on site in accordance with provincial regulations Ensure full compliance with CNESST standards and company safety policies Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific prevention programs Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and risk mitigation measures Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks,



and training sessions Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure alignment with safety requirements Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions Maintain all required documentation and ensure audit readiness Requirements Mandatory CNESST accreditation (CoSS certification) Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role on construction sites Strong knowledge of Quebec health & safety legislation and best practices Experience on multi-residential or large-scale construction projects Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to enforce safety standards while maintaining robust working relationships What's Offered Competitive compensation package Long-term project stability Opportunity to work on a high-profile residential development
