The Opportunity

We are currently seeking Crushing and Screening Plant Operators to join our operations team in Sudbury, Ontario. In this role, you will safely operate and maintain crushing, screening, and related production equipment while supporting daily production requirements.

This position involves physically demanding outdoor work, occasional travel to job sites, and collaboration with a skilled team to maintain safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Your Day-to-Day

- Safely operate crushing and screening plants, stackers, conveyors, loaders, and other production equipment
- Complete daily pre-operational and post-operational equipment inspections
- Attend safety meetings and identify, report, and correct workplace hazards
- Monitor equipment condition, production processes, and changing site conditions
- Manage and report inventory and production information
- Clean, lubricate, and refuel equipment as required
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and repairs when qualified to do so
- Maintain accurate electronic hours-of-service records, inspection logs, and production documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment
- Perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, crouching,



climbing, crawling, repetitive reaching, and standing for extended periods
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including inclement weather
- Work evenings, weekends, and extended hours when required to meet operational and project demands
- Travel to job sites across Northern Ontario, including occasional out-of-town assignments and overnight stays
- Work in accordance with all internal, client and regulated health and safety policies, procedures and/or regulations, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Perform other related duties as assigned

You Are a Good Fit If You Have

Required:

- Minimum of one (1) year experience in crushing, screening, or related aggregate-production operations
- Experience operating jaw crushers, cone crushers, screening plants, conveyors, stackers, or loaders
- Valid G class Driver’s License
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Considered an Asset:

- Prior experience in the construction and/or mining industry
- Surface Miner Common Core
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent

Skills & Abilities:

- Successfully passed comprehensive pre-employment third party testing requirements (drug and alcohol testing and a Criminal Background Check (CPIC) and any other requirements they impose on contractors)
- Familiar with aspects of maintenance of crushing equipment
- Knowledge of loading requirements, techniques, and practices
- Ability to perform physically intensive and strenuous tasks
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills with supervisors, coworkers, and clients




- Ability to adapt to changing job requirements and schedules
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
