Position Title: Cutting Room and Work Order Coordinator

FELLFAB® is seeking a Cutting Room and Work Order Coordinator to support daily cutting operations at our Hamilton facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role coordinates work order flow, stages materials, validates production requirements, and supports the team in meeting manufacturing schedules. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

- Coordinate daily cutting priorities and work order sequencing to support production schedules.
- Prepare and organize work orders, labels, markers, and production documentation.
- Stage materials and ensure cut components are ready for manufacturing.
- Review markers, lay lengths, ply counts, BOMs, drawings, and work order requirements for accuracy.
- Support marker making, plotting, digitizing, and computerized cutting operations.
- Monitor workflow, equipment condition, and maintenance needs to help maintain on-time production.
- Communicate daily priorities, quality expectations, and safety requirements to the team.
- Train employees on job duties, quality standards, company policies, and safe work practices.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications, drawings, BOM requirements, and company standards.
- Support ISO 9001 compliance, Lean 6S activities, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Track material utilization, scrap, re-cuts, efficiency, and related performance indicators.
- Recommend process improvements,



waste reduction opportunities, and cost-control actions.
- Promote PPE use, housekeeping, hazard reporting, and compliance with OHSA, WHMIS, and company safety requirements.

What We’re Looking For

- Post-secondary degree or college diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Supervisory experience is considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read drawings, patterns, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Technical knowledge of computerized cutting equipment and marker making.
- Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Type and Compensation This job posting represents a newly created, full-time position.

Salary: $50,000+ based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
