About The Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on analyzing our business operations and accounting metrics to provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Your primary responsibility will be to translate complex datasets into clear, visual narratives using advanced data visualization tools.

You will collaborate closely with the operations and finance teams to understand their data needs, develop comprehensive dashboards, and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies. Your work will directly impact our ability to monitor performance, optimize processes, and support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

Educational Background: A degree in a quantitative discipline such as Business Analytics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and manipulation is essential.

Experience with Python data stack libraries such as Pandas, NumPy,



and Matplotlib is highly desirable. Advanced skills in data visualization and reporting are necessary, with hands-on experience using tools like Tableau, QuickSight, or similar platforms.

Additional Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with version control systems like Git and project management tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence will be advantageous.

Soft Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills are vital, along with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively. A keen eye for data quality and integrity is essential for delivering accurate insights.

Work Authorization: Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Language Requirements: Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory. Fluency in French is considered an asset, given the bilingual environment of the organization.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with operations and accounting teams to understand their data requirements and provide actionable, data-driven recommendations.
- Design, develop, and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) reports and dashboards using Tableau or similar visualization tools to monitor business and financial performance.
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze operational data from multiple sources to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities,



and process optimization areas.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across financial and operational systems through ongoing data validation and cleansing initiatives.
- Analyze operational bottlenecks and supply chain costs to generate insights that support business improvements and strategic planning.
- Assist in the development of data models and reporting frameworks that enhance the organization’s ability to make informed decisions.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and visualization to continually improve reporting processes.
