About The Role
We are seeking a talented Data Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at BRP. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business leaders and data consumers to identify reporting and analytical requirements, translating these needs into comprehensive business requirement documents and technical specifications. You will have the opportunity to develop impactful Power BI reports and dashboards, providing critical insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Additionally, this position offers the chance to act as a product owner, managing the roadmap for the corporate services data domain and ensuring the continuous enhancement of our data platform. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a passion for data wrangling, process analysis, and delivering innovative solutions that support our growing business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar Data Analyst or Business Analyst role, preferably within a data-driven organization.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Dataiku,
Snowflake, LucidChart, and Collibra.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC, S4 EWM, MM, and TMS modules.
- Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modeling, and business intelligence methodologies.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and backlog management is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
- Passion for quality, innovation, and emerging technologies, with a detail-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards for various business functions within Logistics Inbound & Outbound using Power BI, AI, and other visualization tools.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and recommend appropriate BI solutions.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of business processes and data sets across ECC, S4, and connected applications to ensure accurate reporting.
- Utilize knowledge of data structures and visualization capabilities to suggest improvements, data quality tools, and dashboard enhancements.
- Prioritize tasks within the App, Tech, and Data teams to align with strategic roadmaps supporting future growth and technological advancements.
- Provide daily support to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of reporting platforms and data loads necessary for business operations.
- Manage feature prioritization and user stories based on stakeholder feedback, business value, and project scope.
- Collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality, timely products that meet data quality and functional requirements.
- Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for developers and analytics teams.
- Communicate project updates, progress, and insights effectively to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
