About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team working on the landmark ALTO project, a major infrastructure initiative that will develop over 1,000 km of new passenger rail service connecting Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, structuring, analyzing, and standardizing large datasets to support project decision-making and operational efficiency. You will develop and automate data processes utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, to create insightful dashboards, visualizations, and data models.

Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will define reporting requirements, deliver effective analytical solutions, and ensure data governance and security compliance. Your work will directly influence strategic planning and project execution,



contributing to one of Canada's most significant transportation infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business intelligence, data analytics, statistics, business administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric components, including OneLake, Dataflow Gen2, Data Factory, and Notebooks.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, and DAX for data modeling, dashboard creation, and advanced analytics.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality principles, and data security standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

- Manage, structure, analyze, and standardize large datasets to support project and business requirements.
- Design, develop, and automate data workflows and processes within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem to enhance operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain dashboards, visualizations, dataflows,



and semantic models in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to monitor project performance and generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting needs, define KPIs, and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
- Ensure all data processes and outputs comply with governance, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data workflows, models, and processes for transparency and future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data analytics tools and methodologies to continuously improve data solutions.
