Day To Day Responsibilities:

- Electrical and mechanical safety within the data center
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
- Working on mechanical devices - HVAC, cooling, ventilation, generators, BMS/EPMS, and fire protection systems.
- Troubleshooting / providing solutions (break fix)
- Propose and implement cost-effective, sustainable operational improvements.
- Conduct detailed technical inspections to ensure equipment performance, health, and safety..
- Collaborate with global teams to maintain AWS data center reliability standards.
- Work on generators - inspections, checking oil fuel
- Preventative maintenance on monthly basis
- Familiar with Automatic switch transfer

Monthly maintenance of Air handling units - understand how evaporation mode works, understand how air handling works, how it cools down equipment. Controlled air handling units

Must Haves:

Understanding of electrical systems (low and high voltage) and mechanical systems (cooling, ventilation, generators).

1to 2 year or experience or masters degree in electrical/ engineering (open to recent grad)

Knowledge of electrical systems (low and medium voltage) and mechanical systems (HVAC, cooling/ heating, medium voltage systems, ventilation, transfer switches, breakers, bus bars, and generators, control modules, PLCs - programmic logic controller, relays, instrumentation concepts). - Prior electrician / prior Data Center (plus) ** Preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance.

Bilingual (English and French)

Availability to participate in an on-call schedule for co-location roles (2 buildings on the same site, within walking distance) -

hour shift. Rotation schedule. 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, etc.



one week worker will work 36hours and next 48hours (Rotation) Shift will be 6am to pm or 6pm to 6am (Rotation)

Excellent attitude (patient, go getter mentality, flexible, ability to deal with ambiguity - leadership principles i.e. Working on holidays if scheduled * i.e. Bias for action, Ownership, Team work 6. Ability to lift up to 49 lbs and work safely at heights.

Nice To Have:

Post Grad in electricity, electromechanics, or mechanics.

Knowledge of power distribution and industrial cooling systems. - Proficiency with computer tools related to maintenance and analysis. - Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced technical environment. - At AWS, we value passion, reliability, and technical curiosity. Maintenance team

Pay rate: $25-$26/hr

CSA 462 (electrical safety) is a plus.
