Process|Methodologies|Business Transformation Infosys is hiring for AI developer. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in Canada.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. At least 4 years of Information Technology experience. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.

AI Developer - 4+ years of overall technology experience with 2+ years in Contact Center and Conversational AI architecture.

Build RAG Pipelines: Build multi-step agents with working memory, tool execution, state tracking, and deterministic control flows. Optimize prompts, context packing, and token-economics to maximize reasoning quality while minimizing latency and cost. Robust software engineering fundamentals with intermediate Python.

Experience building transparent AI systems using standard libraries and clients.

Native RAG Implementation: Custom chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, re-ranking, and retrieval logic.

Agentic Programming: Building tool-use flows, working memory, state machines, and deterministic agent orchestration. Crafting structured prompts, multi-shot reasoning scaffolds, and domain-specific context packing.

Python Engineering: Strong fundamentals, async programming, concurrency, and performance tuning.



Building transparent, debuggable AI microservices.

Experience with clients, raw API calls, and minimal-framework AI development.

Testing & Debugging: Unit tests for agents, RAG regression tests, and prompt-level debugging The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
