Title : Senior Test Data Management (TDM) Engineer

Location: Remote-Canada

Mandatory Skills: Python, TDM, IBM Optim, Tonic AI, Informatica TDM, K2view, or Delphix

Reports To: TDM Lead, Test Center of Excellence

Required Skills

Technical Expertise (Must Have)

- Core Engineering: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Test Data Management, Data Engineering, or a closely related field, preferably in financial services or fintech.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python (data automation, synthetic generation, pipeline orchestration) and JavaScript/TypeScript (Playwright integration, API automation).
- SQL Mastery: Expert-level SQL including complex joins, subqueries, stored procedures, data validation, and performance tuning across Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and DB2.
- TDM Tooling: Experience with enterprise TDM tools such as IBM Optim, Tonic AI, Informatica TDM, K2view, or Delphix.
- API Proficiency: Robust experience with REST APIs, JSON payloads, API chaining, and tools such as Postman,



Python Requests, or Playwright.
- CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating data pipelines with CloudBuild, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Data Protection: Solid understanding of data masking, obfuscation, synthetic data strategies, and PII protection in non-production environments.
- Data Modeling: Understanding of relational data modeling, referential integrity, and complex multi-table relationships across legacy and modern systems.

Domain Knowledge (Must Have)

- Financial Services: Understanding of lending/financial data domains: loan lifecycle, customer records, account structures, payment histories, and regulatory data requirements.
- Testing Context: Understanding of how test data serves functional, integration, E2E, and performance testing. You know why data quality matters to test reliability.
