Early Bird Daycare is looking for a caring, reliable and energetic individual to join our licensed group family childcare home in Warman.

This is a permanent part-time position with a consistent three-day schedule, working Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

We are a small, play-based home daycare that provides a fun, comfortable and nurturing environment for children. Because we are a smaller program, we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to become an key part of their everyday routine.

Wage & Education

$16.00–$24.85 per hour, depending on Early Childhood Education level and qualifications.

Applicants do not necessarily need to already have their Early Childhood Education certification. There may be an opportunity to complete Early Childhood Education courses at no cost while working in the field, making this a great opportunity for someone interested in beginning or continuing a career in Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities

- Providing attentive, nurturing care to children
- Playing and engaging with children throughout the day
- Planning and participating in age-appropriate activities
- Assisting with meals and snacks
- Diapering and supporting toileting routines
- Helping with naps and quiet time
- Supervising indoor and outdoor play
- Helping maintain a clean,



organized and safe daycare environment
- Working together to create a positive and welcoming environment for our children and families

What We're Looking For
- Someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children
- Reliable and dependable — consistency is extremely important in our program
- Patient, positive and comfortable in a busy childcare environment
- Able to take initiative and work both independently and alongside the daycare owner
- Previous childcare experience is an asset, but we are open to the right person who is interested in learning and growing in the field
- Early Childhood Education training/certification is an asset, but not required
- First Aid/CPR and a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check will be required
