Dealer Trade Driver - Scherer Chevrolet Buick GMC – Kitchener, ON
Scherer Chevrolet Buick GMC is looking for a reliable and responsible Dealer Trade Driver to join our team. In this role, you’ll help transport vehicles between dealerships and ensure vehicles are delivered safely, professionally, and on time.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, is dependable, and takes pride in providing excellent service.
What You'll Do
- Drive new and used vehicles between dealerships and other locations as required
- Safely transport vehicles while following all applicable road laws and dealership policies
- Complete vehicle pick-ups and deliveries in a timely manner
- Conduct basic vehicle checks before and after each trip
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle transfers and mileage
- Ensure vehicles are kept clean and presentable during transportation
- Communicate professionally with dealership staff and other locations
- Assist with other dealership transportation needs as required
What We're Looking For
- Valid G driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Safe and responsible driving habits
- Previous professional driving experience is an asset
- Automotive or dealership experience is an asset,
but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable & Punctual & Flexible
- Professional and friendly communication style
- Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles, including trucks and SUVs
- Comfortable driving long and short distances
- Ability to work independently, in a team and manage time effectively
