Spolumbo’s Fine Foods is looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Deli Team Member to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, takes pride in providing great service, and can work effectively in a rapid-paced food setting.

Position Responsibilities

- Provide friendly and professional customer service at the deli counter
- Take customer orders and accurately process payments through the POS system
- Prepare sandwiches, hot food, salads, and other menu items according to company standards
- Slice and package deli meats, cheeses, and other products
- Assist customers with product questions and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked deli and restaurant area
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Restock products, ingredients, packaging, and supplies as required
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Ensure food is properly stored, labelled, and handled
- Work as part of a team to maintain efficient service during busy periods
- Perform other duties as required to support the deli and restaurant operations

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a deli,



restaurant, grocery, or food-service environment is an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties, including lifting and moving supplies
- Food Safety Certification is an asset
