Dental Assistant / Clinical Floater
Part-Time | Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
We are a modern, growing dental practice looking for a positive, proactive, and tech-savvy Dental Assistant / Clinical Floater to join our team.
This is an ideal role for someone who loves being part of a team-oriented environment, takes initiative, and is genuinely happy to jump in wherever support is needed. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our practice long-term and become an important part of our clinical team.
Schedule
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Candidates should be able to consistently commit to these days and hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Support dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants throughout the clinical day
- Jump in for chairside dental assisting as needed
- Assist with room setup, turnover, breakdown, and maintaining effective patient flow
- Sterilize, package, and organize dental instruments according to infection-control protocols
- Keep operatories stocked, organized, and ready for patients
- Assist with Invisalign appointments and workflows
- Perform iTero scanning and support digital dentistry workflows
- Help ensure patients feel welcomed, comfortable, and well cared for
- Anticipate the needs of providers and other team members rather than waiting to be asked
- Maintain a clean, organized, calm, and efficient clinical environment
- Jump in to support the team during busy periods
- Adapt quickly when schedules or priorities change
- Learn and follow new clinical systems, technology, software, and workflows as the practice continues to grow
What We're Looking For
- Previous dental assisting experience
- iTero training and experience is required
- Comfortable with Invisalign and digital workflows
- Highly comfortable with technology and able to learn current software quickly
- Experience with Oryx dental software is an asset
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A genuinely positive and supportive attitude
- Proactive and willing to see what needs to be done and jump in
- Calm, composed, and solutions-oriented during busy or stressful situations
- Warm, welcoming, and professional with patients
- Organized, efficient, and able to multitask
- Comfortable moving between chairside assisting, sterilization, room turnover, scanning, stocking, and other clinical support responsibilities
- Dependable and consistent
- Eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow with the practice
