Buchanan Technologies is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise digital services initiative. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing modern web infrastructure,

CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, and API services within a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities

- Support and optimize enterprise web infrastructure and middleware.
- Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Administer Kubernetes clusters and Docker environments.
- Build, deploy, and support software releases across multiple environments.
- Develop and support REST APIs and API Gateway solutions.
- Monitor production systems and resolve performance, stability, and security issues.
- Configure and maintain web servers, load balancers, and reverse proxies.
- Apply software patches, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.




- Participate in occasional after-hours production support and maintenance.

Required Qualifications

- 10+ years of enterprise DevOps or software development experience.
- Strong Java development experience.
- Linux administration (Ubuntu preferred).
- Git version control.
- Jenkins or comparable CI/CD automation tools.
- Kubernetes administration.
- Docker.
- Bash or other shell scripting.
- MySQL or other relational databases.
- REST API and API Gateway experience.• Apache and Nginx.
- Experience supporting enterprise web applications through the full SDLC.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- MuleSoft integration experience.
- Grafana, Prometheus, or SolarWinds.
- Drupal.
- Performance testing, load balancing, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience in large enterprise or public sector environments
