Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled DevOps / Linux Engineer with 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Red Hat Linux administration, DevOps automation, Ansible, and infrastructure support.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with RHEL, Red Hat Satellite, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, NFS, IDM/LDAP, sudo access, user administration, and Linux storage management. The candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting complex production environments, identifying root causes, and supporting infrastructure while multiple applications and services are running.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform administration, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Red Hat Linux infrastructure.
- Manage and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
- Perform Red Hat patching using Red Hat Satellite Server, including repository and content management.
- Manage and administer Red Hat Satellite, including server registration, patch deployment, lifecycle management, and troubleshooting.
- Configure and support NFS services, mounts, and related troubleshooting.
- Perform Linux user and group administration, including access provisioning and management.
- Manage sudo access, permissions, and privileged-user configurations.
- Support authentication and directory services using IDM/LDAP.
- Perform Linux disk and filesystem administration, including LVM, XFS, and ext4.
- Monitor infrastructure health and troubleshoot system-level performance, availability, and configuration issues.
- Investigate complex technical problems and perform root cause analysis in environments supporting multiple applications.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure configuration.
- Create and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
- Support configuration management using Puppet.




- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform.
- Participate in delivery and product team meetings as a representative of System Support Engineering.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support production incidents, changes, deployments, and infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational tasks and improve infrastructure reliability.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support knowledge articles.

Required Experience
- 3–6 years of relevant hands-on experience as a DevOps/Linux Engineer or Linux Infrastructure Engineer.
- Solid hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux administration.
- Demonstrated experience with Red Hat Satellite Server and enterprise Linux patching.
- Practical experience with Ansible automation.
- Experience with Puppet and Terraform for infrastructure/configuration automation.
- Strong understanding of Linux storage, filesystems, authentication, and access management.
- Experience troubleshooting complex systems supporting multiple applications.
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant domain experience is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications
- RHCSA / RHCE certification is preferred.
- Experience in enterprise production environments.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and performance management.
- Understanding of security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience working in cross-functional Agile/DevOps teams.
