Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough inspections of diesel engines and related components to identify issues promptly
- Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel trucks, buses, heavy equipment, and other machinery using a variety of hand tools and power tools
- Diagnose mechanical problems accurately using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals
- Replace worn or damaged parts such as filters, belts, brakes, and engine components with precision
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and tracking purposes




- Follow safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working workplace for yourself and colleagues
- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues by collaborating with team members when necessary

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and fuel systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and socket sets
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, impact wrenches, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good physical stamina to stand, kneel, lift heavy parts, and work in various positions throughout the day
