Duties

- Assist with meal preparation and food service, ensuring timely set up and delivery of nutritious meals to residents.
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism, courtesy, and a friendly attitude
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
- Help with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, dining spaces, utensils, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including portioning and plating meals




- Serve meals according to residents’ correct diet and preferences to provide personalized service
- Record temperatures, and documentation of supplies and sanitation routines

Experience

- Prior experience in nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred
- Demonstrated skills in food preparation, or food service roles
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards necessary for healthcare environment
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously with residents
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food handling procedures and kitchen operations is advantageous
- Familiarity with serving techniques and meal presentation enhances the quality of service provided
