Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines, menus, and resident preferences, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist with food presentation, portion control, and timely meal delivery to residents or clients.
- Follow strict food handling, safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.
- Support meal planning and inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of shortages or needs.
- Serve meals with friendly customer service, attending to residents’ individual needs and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food storage spaces in compliance with health regulations.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal service during busy hours while adhering to time management standards.

Experience

- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working with diverse populations in a customer-focused environment is advantageous.
- Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with meal planning, serving techniques, and kitchen equipment operation is beneficial.
