Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise strategy integration, corporate planning, performance reporting, and risk alignment activities
- Direct CEO Office operations and executive coordination processes that support organizational effectiveness and strategic execution
- Provide leadership and oversight for Board governance, Board relations, and governance compliance activities
- Support executive and Board decision-making through high-quality analysis, reporting, and strategic advice
- Facilitate enterprise-wide coordination of organizational priorities, strategic initiatives, and issue resolution
- Lead strategic funding, growth, and government priority initiatives that support organizational sustainability and advancement
- Champion innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across governance, planning, and executive operations functions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Public Administration, Health Administration, Policy, Law, or a related field
- Governance or executive certifications (e.g., ICD.D, C.Dir., CGIC, PMP) considered an asset
- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise strategy, corporate planning, governance,
executive operations, enterprise risk management, or a related senior advisory function.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in healthcare, public sector, nonprofit, or other highly regulated environments
- Expert knowledge of governance frameworks, enterprise risk management, organizational performance measurement, and strategic planning processes.
- Advanced understanding of Board governance, regulatory requirements, public accountability frameworks, and governance best practices
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and integrating priorities across multiple portfolios in complex and evolving environments
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Robust communication, relationship-building, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into concise executive-level recommendations
- Demonstrated financial and business acumen
- High level of professionalism, discretion, political acuity, and judgment
