About GoGo Tours GoGo Tours is a leading Canadian tour operator serving the Chinese-Canadian community for 15 years, offering group and independent travel experiences primarily in Cantonese and Mandarin. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Director of Operations to help lead the business into its next chapter.

The Role We're looking for a senior operating leader to take overall ownership of GoGo Tours' operations — setting strategy and standards across product, supplier relationships, and internal systems, and building the leadership bench beneath them. This role sits above our Tour Operations Manager and other functional leads, who will report into this position. It reports directly to ownership, carries P&L-level; accountability for operational performance, and is a genuine leadership seat — not an execution role.

What You'll Do

- Own overall operational strategy and performance across the business: tour product, supplier and ground operator relationships, group air/flight contracts, and quality control across the full travel portfolio
- Directly manage the Tour Operations and other department leads (product, ticketing, customer service); build out the management team and succession bench beneath you
- Set the operating cadence, budgets, and KPIs for the operations function, and report on performance directly to ownership
- Drive process improvement and automation strategy across booking, rooming, and back-office workflows, working with the team responsible for execution




- Lead vendor and supplier strategy and high-stakes negotiations (ground operators, airlines, hotels) to protect margins and service quality
- Partner with ownership as a senior thought partner on strategic initiatives — new markets, new products, and potential acquisitions — with a path to increasing general-management responsibility as ownership steps back from day-to-day
- Represent GoGo Tours with key partners, suppliers, and community stakeholders at a senior level

What You Bring

- 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience, including experience managing a team
- Prior P&L; or budget ownership
- Fluency in Cantonese given our core customer base
- Track record of professionalizing operations in a founder- or owner-led business
- Strong vendor/supplier negotiation experience at a strategic level
- Comfortable operating as a direct, senior partner to ownership in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and cross-functional communication skills
- Based in or willing to work from the Greater Toronto Area
