We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly sanitized and ready for use. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
- Ensure proper handling and storage of clean items to prevent contamination
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support efficient workflow during busy periods
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation standards
Skills
- Experience in cleaning or food service environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking is a plus
- Hospitality experience or hotel background can be beneficial but not required
Requirements
- Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 – 10 hour shift
- Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
