Overview

Looking for a Part-time Dishwasher for our family restaurant which has been open for more than 20 years. In this role, you'll ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils, creating a welcoming and productive space for food preparation and service. Your dedication to maintaining high standards of cleanliness will help support our culinary team and enhance the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Assist with basic food handling tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods
- Follow proper food safety procedures and hygiene protocols at all times
- Organize clean dishes for storage or immediate use in food preparation areas




- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen by participating in routine cleaning duties beyond dishwashing
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards within a kitchen setting
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude to work effectively with team members
- Basic understanding of food handling safety practices is a plus
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience can be advantageous but is not mandatory

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week
