Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated city Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle customer calls, dispatch appropriate teams in the area and ensure timely responses to transfers. Please visit our website to learn more about us www.nupt.ca

Duties

- Answer emergency calls and gather necessary information
- Dispatch teams to designated locations
- Coordinate communication between hospitals/ clients and families
- Monitor and track the status of ongoing transfers, update system with times
- input calls into data base, plan and disaptch

Experience:
- Previous experience in emergency dispatching or a related field is preferred
- Proficient in data entry and phone etiquette
- Ability to analyze situations quickly and make informed decisions
- Familiarity with phone systems and communication tools
- Knowledge of transportation management systems is a plus




- Experience with shipping receiving procedures is beneficial
- Strong communication skills to effectively relay information during emergencies
- Ability to type accurately and quickly
