We are looking for 1 to 2 people to help with our growing business In Sunshine Valley and Hope.

We walk clients' dogs anywhere from 30 to 120 mins per visit.

The walks could be around the client's neighbourhood, or the client may request a hike on a local trail.

What we are looking for;

-Flexible schedule. Most walks are set days/times, but occassionally an extra walk is requested, or vacation days needs to be covered.

-Enthusiastic and friendly. Occassional interactions with pet owners, who want to know about the dog adventure.

-Active.

-Comfortable in all weather. Rain, Wind, Sun and Snow. Must have appropriate footwear(no sandals, crocs or flipflops).

-Good communication skills.

-Punctual with good time management.

-Confident in using bear spray, whistles and bells out in nature.

-Comfortable using trails.

-Must be capable with all breeds, and energy levels.





-Knowledge of basic behavior traits, and know how to avoid potential conflicts.

-Valid Drivers Licence.

-Access to Vehicle.

-Smart Phone with Data.

-Are ok with dogs in vehicle if taking hiking.

-Have 2 or more years relevant experience in the pet industry(Pet store, Vet, Grooming, Daycare, Pet Sitting), excludes family pets.

***Will not respond to applicants outside of the Hope/Sunshine Valley/Dogwood/Laidlaw area.
