Duties

- Prepare and cook doughnuts from scratch, following established recipes and quality standards
- Decorate doughnuts with icing, sprinkles, and other toppings using cake decorating techniques
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring ingredients, and portioning batter
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Package/ display finished products securely for sale or delivery, ensuring freshness and presentation
- Support the team with general kitchen duties, including cleaning utensils, dishes, and work surfaces.
- Other relevant tasks may be assigned to ensure is properly maintaine.





Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; a passion for baking is a plus!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Skills in cake decorating or creative food presentation is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic cooking skills including food preparation, baking, and food industry best practices
- Excellent customer service skills are beneficial for engaging with customers when needed
