Dream Home Ticket Seller The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society is looking for multiple Ticket Sellers for our Dream Home Lottery. These are part time, temporary positions ending when the lottery sells out. Hours will vary based on operational needs and can range from 8-30 hours per week. Applicants must be 19+ or older and have a valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

As the Ticket Seller, you will be responsible for:

- Selling lottery tickets at assigned locations which may be at community events, retail stores, or at the dream home.
- Balance and reconcile daily transaction reports.
- Clean and ensure the Dream Home is presentable to the public.
- Ensure ticket buyers are in compliance with Gaming Policy.
- Location sellers are responsible for setting up and tearing down their booths/tents on location and returning equipment to the specified location at end of day. This includes carrying up to 30 pounds.

- Excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and willingness to engage with the public.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.




- Show compassion and empathy for people that may share stories and experiences about Hospice and/or grief.
- Ability to establish and maintain friendly relationships with employees, officials, and the general public.
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely
- Physically able to sit for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, carry equipment and set up location booths.

Qualifications:

- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid DL and reliable transportation.
- Experience in using computers, POS machines, and handling cash
- Completion of high school, GED or equivalent.
- Minimum one-year experience in related field such as retail sales.
- Clear criminal record check.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $18.25 per hour
