Role Description The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate programs that support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Day-to-day tasks include creating engaging play-based learning activities, observing and documenting children’s progress, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and hygienic classroom environment. The role involves building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, communicating daily updates with caregivers, and supporting children’s self-regulation and independence.





The educator will collaborate with the team to follow centre policies, participate in staff meetings and professional development, and contribute to a positive workplace culture. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mississauga, ON.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Early Childhood Development knowledge and experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Candidates should possess Organization Skills to plan activities, manage classroom routines, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Candidates should possess Creativity Skills to design engaging, play-based learning experiences that support diverse learning styles.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and demonstrate professionalism and reliability.
- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) and eligibility for registration with the appropriate provincial regulatory body are preferred.
- Current first aid and CPR certification, clear background checks, and familiarity with health and safety standards are beneficial.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and alignment with Lullaboo’s child-centered philosophy is highly valued.
