General Responsibilities
Reporting to the Administrative Assistant, the Program Support Specialist provides routine department support to ECE programs.
Salary:
The full range for this position is $46,134.40 - $56,139.20. Offers are made at the entry level of the range.
Effective 09/01/2026, the full range for this position will be $47,340.80 - $57,595.20. Offers are made at the beginning of the range.
Assignment: This position will work full-time, year-round. The position also requires a criminal history check and fingerprint check through the Department of Children, Youth and Families(DCYF), Tuberculosis test to meet state health requirements, Health Exam, and Proof of MMR vaccination or exemption.

Essential Functions/Other Functions
Essential Functions:
1. Receive and screen phone calls and visitors.
2. Establish and maintain professional, timely customer service with families, staff,
and community partners to support effective collaboration and service delivery.
3. Adhere to program performance standards.
4. Maintain and process fiscal reports, travel documents, timesheets, purchase orders, and credit card transactions.
5. Process orders and track expenses according to accounting procedures.
6. Receive and process freight and distribute inventory as needed.
7. Enter data in multiple databases.
8. Maintain regular attendance to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Other Functions
1. Travel to various locations, i.e. child care sites and community events to support programs.
2. Uphold the Vision, Values and Commitment to Professionalism of the ECE Department at ESD 112.
3. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Experience using Microsoft Office programs and other databases.
3. Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
1. Experience working in an Early Childhood program.
2. Bilingual - Bicultural.
Working Conditions/Employment Requirements
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to travel throughout Clark County.
2. Frequent sitting, stooping and bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds in an office environment.
3.
Regular attendance during scheduled work hours that can include events in the evening and on weekends.
4. Physical environment may include office setting, remote office setting, early learning programs, or community work sites.
Employment Requirements - ESD job offer is contingent upon satisfying the following:
1. Successful completion of a portable background check and clearance through the WA State Department of Children, Youth, & Families.
2. Tuberculosis test to meet state health requirements.
3. Health Exam.
4. Proof of MMR vaccination or exemption.
