Assignment:

- Part-time Temporary Educational Assistant position
- FTE will be between 0.40-0.60, to be determined once a successful candidate has been selected
- Monday - Friday, exact schedule to be determined
- Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue until November 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension
- Duties will include providing assistance to students with diverse needs within an inclusive classroom

Qualifications:

- Experience working with students with complex needs
- Ability to formulate strong and healthy relationships
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
- Calm and patient approach to solving problems and assisting with co-regulation
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment
- Ability to work one-on-one or with a student in an inclusive workplace
- Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs
- Ability to be flexible in assigned duties; may include personal care, hygiene, and assisting with meals
