Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, analyzing, and implementing electrical systems for various construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure our developments are effective, reliable, and compliant with industry standards. Duties

- Develop detailed electrical system designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
- Create and review schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts for residential and institutional projects..
- Conduct electrical system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure functionality and safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems with mechanical components.




- Lead the procurement process in purchasing electrical systems

Skills

- Good understanding of Canadian electrical codes, Ontario building code, National Building codes and all applicable codes
- Strong experience with ANSYS for simulation and analysis purposes.
- Mechanical knowledge coupled with experience using Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks for integrated design work.
- Expertise in AutoCAD for creating detailed schematics and electrical layouts.
- Familiarity with electrical engineering principles including system design, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret schematics accurately and translate them into functional systems using CAD tools.

Education

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:
- Electrical engineering: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification (required)
