Role Description

This full-time, on-site Electrician role is located in Lac la Biche County, AB. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local codes and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring and connecting electrical components, performing routine inspections, and troubleshooting electrical issues.

The role also involves collaborating with site supervisors and other trades, documenting work performed, and adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of electricity and electrical work, including protected handling of electrical systems.
- Experience with maintenance & repair of electrical equipment and systems, including scheduled and preventive work.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues and diagnosing faults in circuits and components.
- Understanding of basic electrical engineering principles and their application in construction settings.
- Relevant trade certification or journeyperson status as an Electrician (or working toward certification).
- Familiarity with local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team on active job sites.
- Solid up to date knowledge with codes that pertain to commerical ans residential installations
