clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check as we work with many vulnerable populations
- Ability to regularly lift over 50 lbs and work as a team to navigate heavier loads as required
- Ready to climb and manage heights safely, and work in various site conditions inside and outside in any weather conditions
If you are new to the industry: What We’re Looking For
- Enrollment in or eligible for an elevator mechanic apprenticeship program
- 1–3 years of electrical, mechanical or construction experience (elevator experience an asset but not required)
- Interest in developing strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic
- Comfortable taking direction, learning new systems, and working both independently and as part of a team – asks questions when unclear, takes notes and follows up
- Great communication – professional, punctual, reliable, and customer‑focused
