The Opportunity

As an Emergency Veterinarian, you'll be responsible for managing a broad range of urgent and critical cases while working alongside experienced colleagues in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assessing,



diagnosing and treating emergency presentations
- Managing medical and surgical emergencies
- Working collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff
- Providing clear communication and guidance to pet owners
- Maintaining excellent relationships with referring veterinarians
- Delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive team environment

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have:

- Eligibility for veterinary licensure in Nova Scotia
- Previous emergency or emergency referral experience (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Confidence managing emergency cases independently
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to practice
