Join our dynamic team as an Estimator/Project Manager specializing in Firestopping and Fireproofing! In this energetic role, you will lead the planning, estimating, and execution of fire protection projects, ensuring safety compliance and project success from start to finish. Your expertise will drive accurate cost assessments, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and oversee project timelines to deliver exceptional results.

Duties

- Prepare detailed construction estimates for firestopping and fireproofing projects using blueprint reading and schematic analysis.
- Develop project schedules
- Manage project scope, budgets, and timelines through construction management software
- Collaborate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to review schematics, specifications, and bid proposals.
- Oversee project execution by monitoring progress, managing resources, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Assist in hiring and training of skilled applicators to deliver Projects on time and on budget
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions, verify work quality, and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including change orders, progress reports, and safety compliance records.

Experience





- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management within the fire protection or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings specific to firestopping/fireproofing systems.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and civil engineering principles relevant to fireproofing applications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently through excellent time management skills.
- Construction experience that includes working with fire protection systems or heavy industrial projects is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with teams across various disciplines and stakeholders.
