/ Responsibilities

- Program & Project Management
- Translate business requirements into executable project plans and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate activities across Technology, Construction, Operations and third-party vendors.
- Manage project scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets, and change requests.
- Track project progress, escalate issues, and provide status reporting to stakeholders.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, operational readiness, and transition to steady-state operations.
- Technology Infrastructure Planning & Deployment
- Plan and coordinate store technology infrastructure requirements for current store openings and facility expansions.
- Collaborate with Windows, Network, Linux, Database, Security, and Application teams to define infrastructure requirements and deployment schedules.
- Execute and coordinate end-to-end smoke testing of store technology components, including network connectivity, POS systems, user access, printing, telephony, security systems, and critical business applications
- Coordinate provisioning and installation of server, network, security, and end-user computing infrastructure.
- Ensure infrastructure components are deployed and validated according to approved design standards.
- Hardware & Asset Procurement Management
- Coordinate procurement and ordering of IT hardware, networking equipment, and associated infrastructure components.
- Track procurement activities, vendor commitments, and delivery schedules.




- Manage acquisition of additional IT assets required for store operations and business readiness.
- Monitor and report equipment delivery status through project completion.
- Vendor & Third-Party Management
- Schedule and coordinate vendor activities for installation, configuration, and deployment services.
- Manage interactions with contractors, suppliers, engineers, architects, and technology partners.
- Track vendor deliverables, timelines, and issue resolution activities.
- Ensure vendor work is completed in accordance with project schedules and quality requirements.
- Compliance & Regulatory Coordination
- Coordinate approvals, permits, and compliance requirements with county, state, and regulatory authorities as applicable.
- Track approval status and associated dependencies impacting project delivery.
- Ensure projects comply with CarMax policies, applicable regulations, industry standards, safety requirements, and environmental guidelines.
- Facility & Store Readiness Management
- Coordinate technology-related office, workstation, and cabin setup requirements.
- Verify technology infrastructure readiness before store launch and operational handoff.
- Conduct readiness reviews and support final go-live approvals.
- Ensure all technology and infrastructure components are operational and deployment-ready.
- Governance, Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation, deployment records, infrastructure inventories, and operational readiness artifacts.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports, risk registers, action trackers, and milestone updates.
- Facilitate governance meetings and stakeholder reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation supporting delivery and compliance activities.
