Schaeffland Enterprises is looking for a reliable and experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to join our team.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already understands professional property maintenance, takes pride in clean work and can complete routine tasks without needing constant direction.

Responsibilities

- Operating commercial zero-turn and walk-behind mowers
- String trimming around buildings, gardens, trees, fences and other obstacles
- Blowing clippings from walkways, driveways, gardens and other surfaces
- Completing residential and commercial properties efficiently and to a professional standard
- Performing basic equipment checks and helping keep equipment clean and maintained
- Working safely around clients, coworkers, vehicles and equipment
- Assisting with other landscaping tasks when required
- Participating in on-call snow and ice removal during the winter season

What We’re Looking For The right candidate:

- Has previous skilled lawn or landscape maintenance experience
- Can confidently operate commercial mowing and trimming equipment
- Understands what a properly finished property should look like
- Notices missed areas, uneven cutting, clumps and messy edges—and corrects them without being told
- Can work independently while also contributing to a crew
- Is dependable, punctual and ready to work at the scheduled start time
- Can follow property-specific instructions and complete work consistently
- Treats company equipment and client properties with care
- Is comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold and changing weather




- Is physically capable of completing demanding outdoor work throughout the day
- Is available for irregular and on-call hours during snow events

A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to our shop are strongly preferred. Experience driving a truck with a trailer or performing commercial snow removal is an asset.

Compensation

Compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates and will reflect demonstrated experience, skill level, reliability and ability to work independently. We had to put a starting wage on Indeed but this does not reflect the rate of pay, rate of pay will be discussed during the interview process based on experience

Candidates who can confidently step into the role, maintain our quality standards and require minimal training will be compensated accordingly.

Schedule Landscape maintenance work is generally completed during daytime hours throughout the spring, summer and fall. Winter work is weather-dependent and requires availability for on-call snow and ice removal, including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays when necessary.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
