Salary range (but not limited to): 69,200 - 84,600Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We’re looking for a Claims Adjuster, Auto and Property – Hybrid to join our new hybrid team!
As a Claims Adjuster – Hybrid,
you’ll be at the heart of what we do best: helping people. You’ll be part of an enthusiastic and diverse team of claims adjusters dedicated to supporting our customers in getting back on track after an auto or home insurance claim.
Your empathy and exceptional skills will make you a valuable asset to our team. We offer exciting opportunities to investigate and manage auto and property losses and complex claims in Personal Lines insurance.
Location:
Montreal (2020 boul. Robert-Bourassa), Laval (600 rue Lucien-Paiement), Quebec City (5700 boul. des Galeries) or Saint-Hyacinthe (2450 rue Girouard Ouest)
What you’ll do here:
- Open new claims over the phone with customers and ensure the situation is handled immediately.
- Analyze information gathered, determine claim validity, investigate the circumstances, identify causes and review damage assessments.
- Interview insureds and/or witnesses to gather their accounts of events.
- Use tools efficiently.
- Effectively manage the work to be done and the various priorities.
- Check the insured’s policy details to determine coverage.
- Collaborate effectively with various teams, including appraisal, underwriting and subrogation.
- Ensure effective cost management.
What you bring to the table:
- Claims Adjuster certificate (Personal Lines insurance).
- At least two years of experience as a claims adjuster.
- Agility, autonomy and a proactive approach in managing your workload.
- Curiosity and commitment.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products.
- Valuable time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A good understanding of the claims process.
- Ability to maintain a high level of performance and productivity.
- Bilingualism (English-French) – Ability to interact with both francophone and anglophone customers on a daily basis. You will regularly handle claims files from English-speaking customers.
