Farm Hand – Broiler Chicken Farm

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Farm Hand to assist the Farm Manager with the day-to-day operations of a broiler chicken farm.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping a farm clean and well maintained, and is comfortable with a variety of physical tasks.

Responsibilities

- Assist the Farm Manager with the daily care and management of broiler chickens
- Help maintain clean, safe, and well-organized farm facilities
- Perform farm cleaning duties, including pressure washing and general cleaning and sanitation
- Assist with routine farm maintenance and upkeep
- Perform light repairs and basic maintenance as needed
- Help with general farm tasks and other duties as required
- Follow farm biosecurity, safety, and animal-care procedures

Qualifications & Skills
- Previous farm or agricultural experience is preferred
- Poultry or livestock experience is an asset
- Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn




- Able to work independently as well as follow direction from the Farm Manager
- Comfortable performing physical work, including some lifting, carrying, bending, and other physically demanding tasks
- Basic mechanical or repair skills are an asset
- Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and animal welfare
