Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional care to clients. This role requires effective communication skills and a robust focus on customer service, ensuring that each client feels comfortable and valued during their sessions.

Responsibilities

- Assess clients' needs and preferences to tailor massage techniques accordingly.
- Perform various types of massages, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for follow-up treatments.
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals to create comprehensive care plans for clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.





Skills

- Proficient in various massage techniques with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
- Strong customer service orientation, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to facilitate better communication with healthcare providers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
