About The Role
- Coordinate field schedules, staffing assignments, travel arrangements, and project logistics across multiple concurrent collection projects.
- Support day-to-day field operations and resolve operational and logistical issues as they come up during active collection.
- Monitor project progress and support workload planning to keep deliveries on schedule.
- Conduct daily QA/QC using GIS software and internal platforms.
- Act as the liaison between Field Operations, GIS, Processing, QA/QC, and Technical teams, keeping handoffs clean and expectations aligned.
- Coordinate fleet usage, equipment inventory, maintenance scheduling, and overall operational readiness.
- Track operational KPIs, project metrics, and status updates, and prepare reports for the Operations team.
- Maintain operational documentation, procedures, and project records.
- Support onboarding and training coordination for new team members.
- Identify and drive improvements to workflows, communication, and operational efficiency.
- Take on other duties and special projects as the Operations team's needs evolve.
What You'll Do
- 2+ years in operations coordination, field services scheduling, dispatch, logistics, or project coordination.
- Strong organizational skills and the judgment to prioritize when several projects compete for the same crew, vehicle, or day.
- Explicit written and verbal communication; comfortable coordinating across technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and collaboration/project tracking tools.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with shifting field conditions and timelines.
Assets
- Experience in engineering, surveying, geospatial, construction, transportation, or municipal services.
- Familiarity with GIS concepts or asset management data.
- Fleet or equipment management experience.
- Bilingual (French/English).
Working conditions
- Primarily office-based with periodic field visits.
- Peak collection season brings heavier scheduling volume and occasional coordination outside standard hours.
- Some travel may be required.
