Mountain Mechanical Sales and Service in Cranbrook, Elkford and Sparwood have an immediate opening for a Commercial licensed technician and dual ticket with commercial vehicle inspector preferred.

Mountain Mechanical is a family owned and operated full-service repair shop that covers a wide array of customer vehicles and equipment. Applicants must be able to perform diagnosis and repair in all areas including engine, transmission, suspension, drive train, steering, and electrical.

Duties

- Perform work as outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately.
- Road test vehicles appropriately and responsibly as required.
- Document repairs performed and all repair recommendations to customer.
- Communicate with parts department to ensure correct parts are ordered and installed.

Experience Requirements:
- Licensed Red Seal Automotive Certification
- Valid Drivers License required
- Ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written communication
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Experience Assets:
- Commercial Vehicle Inspection license
- Computer skills and experience with programs such as AllData, Fleetcross etc.
- Air Brake endorsement
- Experience with diesel engines and Ram 5500/Ford F550 trucks is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $50.00-$58.00 per hour
