Job purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic insights to support business growth. This position requires a strong background in financial management, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

Duties and responsibilities

· Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Manage the payroll process, including payroll reconciliation and reporting.

· Conduct account analysis and account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.

· Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing and collection of payments.

· Develop and monitor budgets, providing variance analysis and recommendations for cost control.

· Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for efficient financial management.

· Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support operational decisions.

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.





· Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.

Qualifications

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

· Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a corporate finance workplace.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.

· Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
