Lead PCA's financial reporting function as a Program Manager in Alberta, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Collaborate with various stakeholders for compliance and strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Finance, the Program Manager will oversee all internal and external financial reporting functions.
The position requires a strong background in financial reporting, strategic advisory, and leadership, supporting a culture of excellence and accountability. You will establish financial reporting frameworks and maintain compliance with Public Sector Accounting Standards and other regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accurate delivery of monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Establish governance and internal controls for financial reporting
- Provide strategic financial analysis to senior stakeholders
- Mentor and lead staff to enhance team performance
- Foster partnerships with auditors and government ministries Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years experience in financial reporting
- Robust analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Drive effective financial reporting and compliance at PCA while mentoring a skilled finance team.
