Overview

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Floor Care / Cleaning Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on experience with floor stripping, waxing, and general floor care and take pride in delivering high-quality results.

Duties

- Perform floor stripping, waxing, and refinishing according to company standards
- Operate floor-care machines, equipment, and cleaning tools safely and properly
- Prepare floors for stripping and waxing, including moving equipment or furniture when required
- Apply floor finish evenly and ensure floors have a clean, professional appearance
- Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties as required
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors and other assigned areas
- Follow established cleaning procedures, company policies, and workplace safety standards
- Use cleaning products and equipment appropriately and safely
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and attention to detail
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete cleaning assignments efficiently




- Maintain a professional and respectful attitude while working on client properties

Qualifications

- Previous experience with floor stripping and waxing is required
- Knowledge of proper floor-care procedures and equipment
- Ability to safely operate floor machines and other cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication and qualified attitude
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety requirements
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties for extended periods

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that high-quality cleaning requires consistency, attention to detail, and proper technique. The successful candidate should be dependable, take responsibility for their work, and consistently maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Pay: $20.50-$26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
