Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Framing Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, ensuring precision and safety throughout every phase of the project. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life by interpreting blueprints, working with various materials, and utilizing a range of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately build framing structures.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and metal framing components for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural elements.
- Operate power tools such as saws, drills, nail guns, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for foundation or structural support.
- Install siding, drywall, and other exterior or interior finishing materials to ensure quality craftsmanship.




- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged framing components and ensuring compliance with building codes.

Experience

- Proven experience in construction or carpentry work with a focus on framing projects.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, woodworking techniques, and heavy machinery operation.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, concrete finishing, welding, siding installation, drywall installation, and general restoration work is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions.
- Prior experience working on commercial or residential construction sites is preferred but not required.
