Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, supporting sales efforts
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract attention and promote featured items
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions promptly and courteously
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and accurate record keeping
- Utilize strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and assist in store operations
Experience
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred, especially in sports knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers on technical features
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and basic math for cash handling transactions
- Robust organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Experience in upselling or cross-selling products to maximize sales opportunities
