Responsibilities

- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and special treatments with precision and flair
- Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment
- Engage clients through effective communication, building rapport and ensuring a positive salon experience
- Assist with retail sales by recommending suitable hair products and upselling additional services to enhance client satisfaction
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques,



and product knowledge to provide innovative services that exceed expectations

Qualifications

- Proven experience in professional hair styling or cosmetology with a valid license or certification as required by local regulations
- Must have ability and desire to self promote in the efforts to build a clientele
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their preferences
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain styling options and product recommendations
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards within a salon workplace
- Ability to multitask effectively at the front desk while maintaining high-quality service delivery
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and a passion for beauty and fashion trends
- Prior experience in retail sales or upselling is a plus but not mandatory
