Position: Full Time Tactical Security Guards - Retail Mall

Site: Erin Mill Town Centre

City: Mississauga, ON

Job Type: Must be able to work all shifts (days, afternoon, nights, weekends) 24/7 Availability

Special Minimum Requirements:

- Valid Ontario Security License
- Must be available for all shifts (days, afternoons, nights, holidays, weekends)
- 1-year Tactical Experience preferred
- Must have a drivers license (G class Preferred)
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, emails, typing)
- First Aid/CPR Level C
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment
- Customer Service Experience
- Police Foundations would be an asset

Duties:

- Working closely with Mall Management
- Full knowledge of 494, Trespass to Property, and Oxford Customer Service Excellence
- Filing paperwork and Writing reports
- Responsible for coaching and counselling guards
- Ensuring guards are trained on important procedures (fire panel, power-outage, bomb threat, etc)
- Review and respond to emails relating to Security or Security Supervisor
- Adjusting schedules according to operational needs with scheduling software
- Be aware of any procedures or site changes
- Memo book checks
- Review incident reports to ensure all is up to standard
- Review and save important CCTV footage




- Obtaining statements and collecting information for Incident Reports
- Performing Customer Service-related functions
- Experience with enforcing TPA and situations where Use of Force is required
- Be physically capable of performing the required duties
- Basic knowledge and use of integrated security systems
