Specialized Educational Assistant for

Career and Technology Studies ( CTS ) Program

Position is temporary 1.0 FTE

Located in the Southwest Hill area, Medicine Hat High School is a energetic learning environment with approximately 1,300 students. We offer a strong academic program in a safe and caring environment, guided by our motto: “Creating Enthusiasm for Lifelong Learning.” Our goal is to prepare students for life's opportunities and challenges through both academic excellence and a wide variety of options and extracurricular activities.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Specialized Educational Assistant to join our Career and Technology Studies (CTS) Program on a temporary full-time basis . The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in supporting students in the trades,



particularly in areas such as Fabrication/Welding , Automotives and Carpentry . While relevant education or training in these fields is an asset, a general interest in trades and a commitment to hands-on learning is essential.

Specifically, this individual would have a focus on student safety in a CTS shop. This could involve monitoring students that are working individually or in small groups. There would be no requirement for the delivery of content to students.
